Kei Hea? ~ Where

This week during Te - Reo we have been learning:

Muri: Behind

Mua: In front

Raro: Under or Below

Runga: Above or on

Roto: In

With these words we had to make them into sentences by choosing a object that includes these words for example: Kei Runga i te turu te raku. That means The Pen is on the chair. Mrs Prendergast gave us a challenge or task to do at least 5 sentences in Maori on a different slide for every slide. This is my slide.

Narrative Writing

This week Mrs Prendergast gave us a task to complete about a narrative writing. So I done my experience about Christchurch with a twist that is fiction. So here is mine

Right now imagine you are Kylie Jenner. You are a 22 year old cosmetic model and your net worth is $900 million dollars!

There are 210 episodes of Keep up with the Kardashians. Keep up with the Kardashians is a very popular reality tv show. The series is worth more than Kylie. 

Kylie has been in the news recently and is now classified as a millionaire not a billionaire. 

This came surprisingly to me as I would have thought she was a billionaire.

Ancient Egypt

This Week we are learning about Ancient Egypt. To work out our topic we were given a set of tasks  to complete.
We had 3 small puzzles to complete, a word scramble and maths equations and after we get the equations right we got given a letter. After we got given our letters we had to see what the letters spelt out. After Isy, Hannah and I figured it out it spelt "Ancient Egypt". This took us all morning and half of the second block to complete.
This was a fun activity to do and hope to do it again.

Have you had a good holiday? Because I have...
This year I am a year 8, then I am off to high school.
This year I have been  put in Mrs. Prendergast class.
I have had a very good start to the year so far.
1 of my goals I would like to achieve at my last year of school is to complete all my work in the  time the teacher gives me.
So far I have been doing all my work in the given time frame.
I also want to stay out of drama with others and focus on my work.
